E. Otis Vaughn Middle School history

E. Otis Vaughn, (1883-1954), for whom this school was named, was principal of Reno High School from 1918-1935. He became Superintendent of Reno District #10 from 1935-1944. He organized the first troop of Boy Scouts in the state of Nevada and was an advocate for vocational trade courses for high school students.
