Libby Booth Elementary School History

School Name History:
Libby Conover began teaching in 1873 in California. She married George Booth in 1876 and moved to Nevada in 1888. She started teaching in Reno when it had one school with nine teachers. She taught at Central School for twenty years. She became principal at Orvis Ring School in 1910 when it opened and served as principal until her retirement in 1935.
